Events

Every circle in the country, in one room.

A circle is where the work gets done. Events are where circles meet each other: a quarterly gathering in your city, a regional event that mixes cities, and once a year the State of AI Adoption Summit, where the research comes out and everyone who contributed to it is in the room. Members first, at member rates, with public seats where the format allows.

Three formats

Quarterly in your city. Regional across cities. One summit a year.

Each one exists to move what's working from the companies who solved it to the ones still stuck, at a bigger scale than a single room can.

Quarterly

Quarterly Gatherings

Every circle in a city, together, four times a year.

A half day. The circles in a city meet in one room: HR next to Finance next to Operations, which almost never happens inside a company. A short research read-out on what moved that quarter, a cross-functional working block, and the kind of hallway conversation that turns into a plan. Members only, included in membership.

Regional

Regional Events

Several cities, one day, rotating.

A full day that brings two or three launch cities together: Denver with Sacramento and San Diego, Miami with New York. Keynotes worth the trip, hands-on workshops, and the first look at the regional cuts of the benchmark. Members at member rates; public seats for prospective members and their CEOs. Sponsors fund the room and never touch the content.

Annual

The State of AI Adoption Summit

The report comes out. Everyone who's in it is there.

One flagship, once a year. The State of AI Adoption report is unveiled, the companies behind the strongest results tell the room how they did it, and Catalysts from every city compare notes. The Institute's megaphone and its reunion in the same two days. Members first; public registration opens after.

When

Second half of 2027. Here's why not sooner.

An event with nothing to unveil is a conference. We'd rather wait until the circles have produced a year of problems worked, a benchmark with real companies in it, and a report worth getting on a plane for. So the calendar follows the circles.

If you want to be in the room when it opens, the fastest route is a seat in a circle. Members get first registration on every event and member rates on the ones with a ticket.

Dec 2026 – Apr 2027

Interest sessions

A lunch-and-learn in each launch city, second Tuesday of the month: Denver, Miami, New York City, San Diego, Sacramento. What AI adoption actually takes, what a circle is, and what you'd get. The only events on the calendar right now.

2027

Circles open

In-person circles form in Denver, New York City, Miami, San Diego and Sacramento; virtual circles everywhere. The monthly loop runs and the benchmark starts filling.

Second half of 2027

Events kick off

The first Quarterly Gatherings in each city, the first Regional Event, and the first State of AI Adoption Summit, timed to the first full edition of the report.

2028 and on

The calendar

Four gatherings a year per city, regional events on a rotation, the Summit every year. Masterminds and retreats as members ask for them.

For members

Quarterly gatherings are included. Everything else, members go first and pay less.

Your Catalyst will know the dates before anyone else does.

For CEOs and prospective members

Regional events and the Summit are the way to see the Institute before you join it.

Public seats open after member registration. Sign up below and you'll hear first.

For sponsors

Fund the room. Never the content.

Regional events and the Summit carry sponsorship, under the same rule as our research: sponsors pay for reach and have no say in what gets said. If that works for you, write to hello@theaiai.net.

Events list

Hear about events before they're announced.

Dates, cities and registration, in that order, and nothing in between. Members don't need this list; your Catalyst has you covered.
